TeCC: The Teaching and Curriculum Collaborative part of the Akamai Workforce Initiative

"Intro to Inquiry" activity:

This is an activity that's meant to get students warmed up and comfortable with things like group work, contributing their ideas/questions to a brainstorm, making informal poster presentations, etc. It isnotmeant to serve major content-goals but it is done in an authentic engineering design context that introduces the ideas of strengths, weaknesses, tradeoffs and limitations. The context for the activity is 4 different "cameras": cameraphones, compact digital cameras, digital SLRs, and telescope+camera systems are all basically optics and detectors applied to the same problem of collecting images.
